Esta canção apareceu pela primeira vez no filme Highlander III: O Feiticeiro, interpretada por Loreena McKennitt (The Visit - 1991). Posteriormente, foi usada na série, nos episódios Terra Natal (Homeland), Licensa Dramática (Dramatic License), Armagedão (Armageddon) e Ser ou Não Ser Segunda Parte (Not To Be), cantada por Laura Creamer (ou instrumental apenas), com arranjos de Roger Bellon. Bonny Portmore, que já caiu em domínio público, faz parte do folclore céltico. Também está no filme Highlander: A Batalha Final (interpretada por Jennifer McNeil).

AMAZING GRACE

Esta canção do folclore escocês é ouvida no episódio Uma Paixão Antiga (Saving Grace), quando Duncan encontra-se com Grace Chandel (que está fazendo um parto), no episódio Not to Be (durante a revitalização de Duncan) e no episódio Deus de Lata (Little Tin God). Não se sabe quem foi o autor da música e é muito provável que seu nome seja New Britain; a letra foi composta muito tempo depois (entre 1760 e 1770) pelo ex-mercador de escravos inglês John Newton, que após sobreviver ao naufrágio de seu navio negreiro, converteu-se a Jesus Cristo. Esta canção, que aparece no episódio O Último Desejo (Haunted), era muito popular durante a Guerra Civil Americana (1861-1865). Letra de W.W. Fosdick e música de R. Poulton. A versão mais famosa é a gravada por Elvis Presley: Love Me Tender (com outra letra).

*Duncan e Alec, que cantam a música em uma cena, mudam o verso "maid of golden hair" para "maid of dark brown hair", porque a amada esposa de Alec é morena.
